Small Bits From My Bogwood In My Sand

Yeah so small bits of bogwood are coming off and mixing with my sand and the gravel cleaner won't pick them up! It looks abit of a mess..... anyway of removing this horrible stuff?

Has anyone else had this problem before?

Bogwood is a nightmare... I don't know about removing it but I had to stew mine for 2 months instead of the week my LFS recommended to get rid of the tannins and stop it weeping..

Do you have shrimp? Those little fellas do it with my bogwood, i vacuum it up using the end of a hosepipe as a smaller, slightly more powerful vacuum.

You know......... your a star. Done it now and my sand is brilliant again!

No shrimp, it happened when i re-positioned my bogwood.......
