Are smaller bettas harder to take care of? I know this may be a stupid question, but I had just purchased a betta from my LFS and it was not eating. It was really energetic at the store, flaring and all, until I got it home. It wouldn't eat blood worms, flakes, hikari pellets...nothing. He eventually died, but he was a dragon plakat, red/black. Would they be harder because they are younger and are more susceptible to diseases?

There's not much difference really, most of mine were bought around or jsut inder the 3 month mark and they have all been fine.

I always go for the babies just because I know roughly how old they are when I buy them. I hate the idea of buying an adult and having no idea if he's seven months old or three years.
