Hi all,

I bought some more live rock for my tank and that evening I noticed what looked like a little slug with pointy bits pointing out the top of it's head.

Then tonight I've just seen a baby one moving across the glass fairly quick!

Anyone know what these are and if they are ok in the tank? They are a nice white colour!

Do they have any green in their bodies? Could be either lettuce nudibranches, or some other type of nudibranch. Beware, nudibranches CAN be beneficial, but they can also be very detrimental to your tank. Some eat specific coral species and most will "nuke" your tank if they die. I'd search around sites talking about nudibranches and see if you can find out what kind you have. Can you post a pic?

Sure,

As soon as I see one (not easy) I'll post a pic mate!

Is it safer just to take it out?

I would. Sea slugs and nudibranches are either really good, or really bad for your aquarium as a general rule of thumb. If you cant get an ID quickly I would remove it but be SURE you wear gloves unless you want to end up like this poor gentleman. Nudis/slugs are NOT to be messed with ;)
