Help!

There is water leaking from the bottom of my ( 60 litre) tank. There is a plastic surround and the water is just oozing slowly from the top of this, mainly in one corner.

I bought a tube of aquarium silicone sealant but now realise I have absolutely no idea what to do. PLEASE tell me that this will NOT require the whole tank to be emptied and that it can be done from outside. Any advice much appreciated.

I have had the same problem on my 300ltr tank except it was a very fast leak and the only way i know of stopping the leak is to drain and completely remove the old silicone from the inside and apply new, which is a simple task with plenty of demo vids on youtube showing what you need to do.
I followed the video instructions and have had my tank re-filled for over 3 months with no leaks.

This happened to my goldfish tank. I got a realy big bow and emptied tank. Leave it to dry for a while then apply silicon sealer and wait for a while refill tank, add chemicals test everythings good and add fish when ready.
