My dad's got a 9 gal Uk tank with a variety of tetras, harlequins etc in. He mentioned today that he has suddenly got a slimy, whiteish/clear algae or bacteria appear in his tank. It is all over the ornaments, plants and inside the glass. He said he could quite easily cleaned it off with a scraper. He's checked his stats which are all ok, and he's carried out every other day water changes. He's had problems with cloudy water recently, but that seemed to clear for a few days until now having this slimy stuff. Any suggestions?
