Hi all im looking for a shrimp for my 240l that isnt massive but isnt small enough so the fish in my signature eat them.

Also is my stocking fine for my tank size? Thanks in advance

Depending on what country you are in you can get Bamboo shrimp, Amano shrimp, African Filter shrimp, or in Australia Typhus shrimp and Cardina indistincta and Riffle shrimp.
Just remember that for shrimp like  the Bamboo, Amano, African Filter and Riffle they all need fairly good current to enable them to use their amazing filter nets to feed.

Im from england and know nothing and i mean nothing about shrimp so they really need to be very easy to look after:s

Most shrimp are quite easy to look after, cherry shrimp are by far the easiest and very forgiving to mistakes, ie dont drop dead at a drop of the hat.

The only fish I see as being real predators of shrimp in your tank is the fighters and maybe the harliquins. If you can/  have room you could set up a smaller tank just for cherry shrimp and let them breed up for around 6months, then add the bulk of the colony to the main tank. That way hopefully by sheer numbers the cherry shrimp will be able to avoid constant predation and begin a new colony.

The only filter feeder shrimp I cna get in Australia are riffle shrimp, all others are illigal to import. Typhus shrimp which are also a native (but highly unlikely to be avaiilable overseas) are not filter feeders but they are known for walking out of tanks when they are not happy with the condtions. I don't know if the filter feeder shrimp from overseas are also prone to wondering off.

Ok thanks alot il try get cherrys and get my small tank out then thx for that
