I done my fisrt weekly part water change 2 days ago, my filter is cycled (took 42 long days) and ammonia and nitrIte are 0 ppm and have been all the time, because since I added my fish I have tested twice a day morning and evening (new tank nerves) the water over the last two days is a a little bit misty (cloudy) the fish are fine, I'm just a bit concerned, can anyone reassure me and put my mind at rest ?

Before you put your fish in everything would be sitting there gently using up ammonia and growing a bacterial colony, what would not be happening is your substrate moving about. Now you have put your fish in, the previously constant currents have changed and the fish are disturbing the bottom of the tank raising dust, sand and other bits and pieces that you thought you had washed off. Depending upon how much detritus needs to be removed by the filter will determine how long it takes to clear fully. Mine took a few weeks, yours may take less. It's not a problem, just wait and it will go away.

HI thanks, but my tank was fine for the first week after adding my 24 fish, the water was crystal clear the whole time, after the water change it was too, except for the usual bubbles that clear in a bit. The mist has developed over the last 2 days see photos below before and after
