Slate Suggestions

hey all

ive got a couple of large slates 12" by 13".

Any ideas on what to do with em?

Blocks or sheets/tiles?


If blocks.....split them and some caves or shady areas.

If sheets/tiles..........I have put them before against the back or side of the tank (make sure nothing gets trapped, and make sure they don't move)..........my fry used to use the space behind mine as a little nursery.

just make sure it's not green slate or has any streaks running through it or spots. i've read that those are not aquarium safe.
