slate gravel

i was just wondering if my black slate gravel will affect my ph?

nope...

Coral (Calcium) raises it, but we are talking sea shells or ground coral.

Wood and other organic substances (leaves, pine cones, dead/decaying plants, etc) lowers it.

Regular ole rocks and gravel have no impact on PH
