Well, the other day I ordered a breeding colony consisting of 9 of these fish and the came in today. He sent me extras so now I have ended up with 12 :). Their colors are a bit faded from the trip here, but should be back here soon. I got them in their 40 gallon tank. The temp is at 72 Fahrenheit, pH 7.2, nitrite 0, nitrate at 20, ammonia at 0. The tank has been cycled for several months now. I will be feeding them my own mix of flake foods. I use tropical fish flakes, spirulina flakes, and beefheart flakes. I will also feed them frozen foods. I will post pics later once they are settled in.

couple of thing's 72 is fine but drop the temp to 66 for 4-5 months just to give them a rest from breeding.

Also dont feed Beef heart flake as this will be to rich.

Alright, I will take the beefheart flake out of their diet and lower the temp. They are very pretty little livebearers. I like them alot.
