Sir Puddles

Whoa, i dont feed my one that much food in a month let alone every two or 3 days, no wonder its growing so fast, 2 prawns or 2 whitebait twice a week is all i feed. Looking good though. What happened to the other one you had?

he's a tough little fella... you say you got zapped??? he should of had his food taken away for a month.. if he gets too large will it not be the right thing to let him go into the wild?

Obviously you like really large fish . Very cool though, he sounds awesome.

God Bless,
Joshua

And just how do you get a electric eel back to the Amazon then ?

Hes very active, hence why I only got 1 picture which isn't too great. He constantly does laps of the tank and when food hits the water it's a crazy feeding frenzy.

There's still 3 tilapia in there which are about 5-7", he tends to eat the smallest one if I don't feed for a few days.

Awwwwwww poor ickle eel of Deans, hes being starved :p Lady Electra is doing mighty fine too, she's been a bit slower growing but she's getting on for about 12" now and getting bit chunkier now.

Yep I got zapped, was more like a warning/excitable zap though, rather than KILL KILL KILL!!!! zap...

Yes....releasing a captive raised fish into the wild is the right thing to do....
