I have a 10 gal tank with 2 white cloud minnows, 2 platys, 1 albino cory and 1 peppered cory.  I want to be careful about having too many fish.  Can I safely get one more fish without putting a strain on things? Which of my fish could best use another mate?  Thanks.

Both your cloud and platys could do with at least another 6 more, and since your tank won't cater for that, I personally wouldn't recommend any further myself.

Honestly, may I suggest you change your stock somewhat?
Rehome the corys, they do best in groups of 6 or more.
So do the minnows for that matter. And they're cold water fish, they like temperatures about 10 degrees cooler than all of your other stock.
Also, I hope both of your platys are the same gender, or else your tank will be over stocked with their fry very soon. Go check out the live bearer forum for that.
