Silver Foil Barbs

Hi,
This is my first post although I have been keeping fish for some years. I recently, about a month ago, bought some silver tin barbs from a local pet shop. I was told they were ok for a community tank. We had five tetra in the tank, we now have three! The silver foil have doubled in size during the last month. Is it likely that they have been supplimenting their flake diet with tetra?
If there is a problem with the silver foils, is it likely that the pet shop will take them back?

Tin Foil Barbs

I believe your silver foil barbs may also be the ones above. They are known to eat small fish.
