I recently bought a silver female betta from my local pet store. I have looked all over the internet for info on metallic, silver, and even dragon genetics... I can't find anything that tells me what her color is considered, or anything on her genetics. She is solid silver, no other colors. Any ideas on what might cause this?

Try looking up Copper bettas. Copper colouring ranges from a very dark silvery black to a very light silver :)

Here's one of mine:

that's exactly what she looks like! so i have a question. what colors should i expect when breeding her? right now i have her with a red butterfly male.

This is a picture of her. She's a little torn from the other females, but she seems healthy. In certain lighting, her fins have yellow tint to them
