Is a juwel rio 240 (48" x 16" x 20") (67gal) big enough long term for 5 silver dollers, or would they take up a lot of my stocking space? I've read conflicting reports on how big they get.

Thanks

67 gallons is fine for 5. You can put more than that in there if you want. Just make sure you don't have anything sharp in there, so they wont get hurt.

It should work out fine; you have enough room for them. I love silver dollars, I always wanted them. They can be skittish so it's good you are keeping them in a group.
