I purchased two Silver Dollars on Saturday afternoon, they were home in about 45 mins. I slowly migrated them into my tank. Took about 45 mins.
Both looked fine on Sunday and were eating fine. Now this might be relevant or maybe not.
I also add sinkable wafers for the loachs at feed time, and one of the silver Dollars picked up a whole wafer and swam around with it in his mouth, maybe he ate the whole wafer!

I got home tonight to find one of them floating up-side-down, Gutted..............
I got out my net out to scoop him out and he swam away, I watched him and it appears as though he has got trapped air in his stomach, he frantically tries to swim to the bottom (30") but then runs out of steam, flips up-side-down and quickly floats to the top. This continues until he is exhausted.

What shall I do?

I've heard of goldfish eating too much and then floating around, the one we had that ate to much was fine after a few days. Sounds like he's been a pig.

...

Thanks guys, I looked up Swim Bladder and I think that's what it could be.
It's a bit distressing watching him try to swim around, but he's trying really hard. I'll keep you posted................

Pardon the pun!
