Silk Plants - Caution!

I was using a combination of silk and real plants in my tank until today. I noticed something hanging out of my figure of 8's mouth today and on close inspection it was a thread from a silk plant. He was eating normally, but this thread wasn't going anywhere. In the end I've had to catch him and pull it out, which is no mean feat as you can't just net a puffer! About half of it was inside him.

All the silk plants are now out of my tank! Just a word of warning for all of you who use silk in their tanks.
