silicone boo-boo

i was adding a divider to a plastic 5 gallon tank (one of those living world one i think) and i was glueing it to the sides with silicone. problem is, i smeared silicone all over the front of the tank by accident.
should i attempt to wipe it off while it is still wet or should i wait till it dries and scrape it off? wouldnt scraping scratch the plastic?

any advice would be helpful. i just did it about 2 minutes ago... )

what you should hvae done is just attempted to whipe it off and if it didnt work you could just get it off when dry. either way its coming off. just use a razon knife to scrape it right off.
