Hi all, think you might remember me having problems with dropsy in my female HRP. Well my male HRP is now having similar problems as her when it started out so thinking I should dose the main tank with the anti bacterial med. Do you think this would be a good idea? I have good airation in the main tank with lots of surface disturbance from my FX5 outlet and it is quite a light stock in there at the moment.
Now to make things worse I have noticed a bit of flashing as well from my Aequidens and the HRP as well quite worried as I am treating some geos in QT for white spot and their bag was in float in the big tank while I cleaned out the QT tank.
So to recap I have a male HRP looking stressed and not eating as much as usual and occasional flashing from both cichlids. I have had a case of dropsy in the tank and possible momentary exposure to whitespot.
So do I dose the main tank for internal bacterial or put the geos in and just dose the whole tank for whitespot or dose the tank for bacterial keep the geos in QT then in a weeks time move them over and dose the tank for whitespot? *shakes head* why why why
