I got a shrimp for my 60 litre tank on Monday. When I got him he was clear, colourless and had bright, black eyes.
Now, one of his organs (which was always visible and tinged green) is engorged and very obvious, and his body has a greeny tinge (very faint). His eyes have also clouded over. I saw him wrestling with a bloodworm a few days ago, and his organs (stomach?) have been engorged since then. If he's going to get sick whenever he is over ambitious with his food, what can I do to help him?
He's still patrolling the tank, very active and eating well.
Tank size - 60 litres
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 10-15
Tank occupants - betta, 4 corys, 7 tetras, shrimp
pH - 7.4
