I had noticed my plecs fins looked a bit messy but thought this was due to my oscar having a go, although none of the other fish have been affected. This morning the plec was all grey (apart from it's head) and it's body appeared dead yet it is still sucking away as they do. I recently had to move my fish from a 6x2x2 tank to a 4x1x1 due to a leak in the 6ft that is under repair and I'm worried that the stress of the move has damaged it. Fish in the tank are 1 oscar, 2 plecs, 1 RTS and a featherfin catfish. All other fish are fine. I have medicated the tank with some finrot medicene in case this is the problem but it seems to have come on very sudden. I'm at work now and if it's still alive tonight I will take a pic for comment.

What are your water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Any excess slime or mucas on the fish body or gills.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing.

Sadly the fish had died by the time I got home on Thursday. Have already done a water change so not sure if there's much point providing stats now. Thankfully my 6ft tank repair has gone well and need to get that ready to put my fish back in it. They're looking a bit annoyed (but well) stuck in that small tank :(

Bless Him. R.I.P.
