hello,

i noticed friday when i got home that one of my new recently bought keyholes was sat on the leaf of a plant and all the color is washed out.

im not sure what is wrong or what i can do

i bought 3 and 1 died within a few days and the 3rd one is swimming around and lively. currently the ill keyhole is resting on some bogwood

how come you have posted this in three different places its called flooding

very sorry but i did that because i never get any success from this forum

Camel,

How old is this tank? Did you cycle it? How big is it, do you test your water? What are your water stats if you do. When did you introduce the keyholes? Who are the other tank inhabitants.

You will see that we would need a lot more information to help you out. But you should know that from all your posting. Give us more info.

just tested the water and the stats are fine

ammonia @ 0
nitrite @ 0
nitrate @ 5

the one thing i did forget to mention was the fish had white spot disease after a week which was treated and has cleared up.

the tank has be up and running for 1 1/2 year and the other tank members include neons, lemon tetra, bristlenose, harlequins, pristella and some cherry shrimp.... so all is friendly

the keyholes were introduced in the normal way everyone does it they instantly hid which i expected.... a week later i found dead.... following week the remaining 2 had white spot disease and were instantly treated and then this week (week 3) one seems very active and fine and the other has the color washed out and resting/laid on plants etc
