please help my thick lipped gourami is very lifeless staying in the weeds but one gill is sticking up. i've had him since a baby and am very worried about him as this has come on very quickly

I have a Coral Blue Gourami and sometimes he does the same, 1 minute hes swimming as fast as he can and the next hes hides away. As for the gil im not sure what that could be but, i'm sure these guys will soon answer your question for you. Hope hes ok.

Is the gill swollen? You might want to look into the gill disease information, especially if the gill is swollen with some redness/pinkish color in it. My fish is going through that right now.
