Sick Fish............... Please Help

My fish have ick I've been treating for weeks but they are sill sick........ Help me please

Don't know the stats on the water, what do I buy so that I can test the water. The temp has been at 82 degrees for 8 days, I'm using ich guard and doing 25% water changes everyday

you need a API fresh water master test kit
did it say to do water changes every day
as that is defeating the objective a bit
your take the treatment out by taking water out
and diluting what treatment is left in the tank
also if you have any carbon in your filter that will need
to be removed as that will also remove the treatment

days 1 3 5 or something like that
and the water changes will be done
at the end of day 5 not after each does

I'm using ick guard it says use everyday, do a 25% water change before putting the next treatment in. I'm also using aquarium salt 1tsp per 5 gallons, I'm really getting discourage...... I'm thinking about getting rid of the fish and everything in my tank and starting over..... I'm going to try for another week and if it don't work I'm starting over, well there only a few fish left anyway.... Thanks for your time..... Janus

a treatment last about five days at the end of that course
you do a water change you dont do a water change every time
you do a dose

Are you sure your fish actually do have ich? What about posting a pic?
