now I have 2 neons in my quarintine 20l tank 1 has pop eye and the other 2 white spots, I am now treating them with interpet anti internal bacteria treatment, but now 2 of my cory have a white fluff looking thing growing on that back fin, should I put them in the quarintine withthe neons our should I just treat my main tank now as it looks like all are going to have something wrong with them? best vid I could get of them as they move to much. and you can only really see it between 1 and 6 secs on its back just before the back fin starts, as when I looked at them last night there was nothing went to the shop to get the meds for the neons, then when the light came on at 2 I did a 20% water change and then noticed the white things on them, water stats 0 ammonia o nitrite 20 nitrate just fed them and all fish are eating fine even the neons in quarintine.

can't really see anything from the video, but notice your gourami is harassing them a bit. Could he/she have nipped at their fins and caused a bit of fungus?

As you say it is white fluff, it sounds like a fungus so i don't think the bacteria med would do any good for that.

its not white spot med as I never said they had ich its anti internal bacteria meds, and I can see it on the vid. and the gourami only does that when I have an algea wafer in otherwise he leaves them alone and I only put the algea wafer in once every 2 weeks and for the purpose of the vid, and you gotta watch in 1080p

yes my mistake, I did correct my post to anti-bacteria.

That's all I can suggest I'm afraid. There is evidence of the corys being harassed by the gourami, so my guess would be fungus because of fin-nipping.

so do you think I should get the fungus and anti fin rot med?and there are is no chunks taken out any of the corys fins apart from one but been like that since I got it, and the fungus stuff is on the fin where there is no marks but the fungus looking stuff that is the same on my neon who has a white spot growing in it. and both cory have the same thing in the exact same spot which is the same as the neon I put down last week, I will just wait and see what wilder says.

It's hard to tell in the vid as soon as you spot the problem the corys swims away.

I wouldn't use anti finrot and fungus med by interpet, as fish can have a bad reaction to it. Corys being sensitive fish I wouldn't risk it.

I would do some daily water changes on the tank.
Add some myxazin by waterlife to main tank.

I would just carry on treating the neons with the anti internal bacteria medication in the isolation tank.

is there nothing else I can use as I cant find that on any websites? as the stores around me only sell the interpet, api and love fish stuff, and should I just do 20% water changes until they start to look better, thanks. and I will try get better pics as the little buggers never stop lol.

Does your local LFS sell esha 2000.

You can buy myxazin by waterlife here.

not sure I will have to check. and will esha 2000 do the same? as I looked on sea pets an found it cheaper same amount for £8 posted http://www.seapets.co.uk/products/aquarium-supplies/aquarium-treatments-fish-medicines/tropical-aquarium-treatments-and-fish-medicines/tropical-fish-medicines/waterlife-research-medicines/waterlife-myxazin-250ml.html?ref=googlebase

Esha 2000 OK on mild bacteria infections.
I always used myxazin by waterlife.

Let us all know how they get on. That's if you don't mind.

Good Luck.

just ordered the 500ml of that warehouse aquatics so should be here monday. should I just do 20% water change each day until then? and I will hopefully I wont have to put any more fishies to sleep for a while as its horrible putting them in ice. but that one looked terrible.

Yes. Just keep doing water changes till the medication arrives.
You can't use salt with corys, so salt baths are out of the question.
You could try a methylene blue bath. But only add one drop of methylene blue to 2 gallons of water. Usually you add one drop of methylene blue to one gallon of water. With corys being sensitive I would only add one drop to 2 gallons of water.

ok, I cant afford methylene blue now atm as I need water conditioner aswell, which means I have spent £30 today on fishies lol, but one thing I forgot to even look up was will the medication I have ordered affect my plants? otherwise I have just wasted a tenna? :(

I know it can be an expensive hobby.

Not sure if myxazin is safe to use in planted tanks. Could you remove the plants before adding the medication.

Here a link to myxazin.
