Sick Cory

Hey,
one of my corys in my quarrantine tank cant seem to stay upright!
he keeps floating to the top of the tank,
and when hes at the bottom hes on his side he cant seem to keep upright!
all my water stats are fine.
when you go near the tank he still swims around but its kind of a fast twichy swim.

what should i do any ideas?

twitching could be ich, not being able to swim properly could be swim bladder problems.

Watch carefully, is he actually rubbing up against things or flicking or is he just twitching cos he's struggling to swim?

hes not rubbing on things, he is just a bit fast and jerky when he swims.
what should i do?

i put him in a net in the tank last night, to stop the other fish bothering him, he was looking slightly better this morning so i released him out of the net about 30mins ago and he seems fine now! very strange! whats going on?

most likely swim bladder disease. one of mine had it. sometimes he would swim just fine and other times he would be jerky, twitchy, and couldnt stay upright.

Corys don't get whitespot, could of been constipation, but it did sound like swim bladder.
Just keep an eye on the cory, good luck.

Should i treat the tank with anything

just had another look at him and he's still fine!

Just peas, didn't one of the cory have fish tb as i remember.

yep thats the same quarrantine tank with the cory that probably died from T.B.

they wont eat the peas, ive tried to give them, they just stay in the tank at the bottom!
