All the tests were fine, he's been very listless and is hardly eating. He is almost constantly hiding up in a corner of the tank, floating near the top. Not appearing to have any swimming issues. Used to go through 5 pellets a meal, now barely does 1. Going to try a pea tomorrow. Only recent change is a substrate change to sand and removal of duckweed we had for a few weeks. Any ideas? He's not leaving that back corner except to eat one pellet then he goes right back...

I removed a plant, he now has one plant and a hidey spot, do you think he could be stressed from that??

Try putting a few more plants in, that may make him feel more secure

bettas can be very temperamental... remember that

I'm ordering more plants off of aquabid as we speak, I hope that helps - I HATE seeing him like this. And I think something could be wrong with his eyes - i watched him eat today, and he saw that he tries to eat, but keeps missing!

Update: been adding a bit of betta fix every day, and he seems to be doing a bit better. Swam around more today than he has been, although he did spend a good bit of time in his corner
