Sick Betta

My Betta is sick. Listless, only moving around at about one tenth the speed that he was when I bought him two weeks ago.
I forgot to do a water change and think that may be the cause. Any suggestions as to how i can help my fish.

Welcome to the site PackageDeal. The best thing you can do for him would be a large partial water change. Do you have a test kit that you can measure ammonia and nitrites with? Either one being above 0.25 ppm will be causing your betta some distress that a large water change would help. If need be, 50% water changes can be done an hour apart to get the water chemistry back in line. Just match temperature on the new water and make sure it is properly dechlorinated.

he could still be suffering from stress at being shipped and then sold. or could be needs a partial water change. keep us posted
