I am not quite sure what my boy has, but I think it may be dropsy. He has had a lump on his left side for about three weeks. I thought he was constipated because he seemed to be producing less waste. I was doing the green pea thing. No real change. He has definately seemed more listless. Is there anything I can do to treat this?? From what I have read, it seems pretty dire. I hope there is something I can do for him. One website said to use Maracyn and Maracyn-two. Any thoughts? Any help aprreciated.

It might not be dropsy if its just on one side, but dropsy is a symptom not a disease itself. He may well have some internal bacterial problem, so maracyn would be good for that. But it could still be constipation, you have to fast him and only feed a bit of pea, not feed the normal food as well, sorry if you knew that. If you have a pic that might help
