i have just lost all my x-ray tets
about a week ago i noticed my newly aquired tetras heddling in a corner of the tank after a closer examination they seemed to be like shivering ,i could not see any outwood sign of anything wrong .

the had still an apetite and would ocasionally swim round the tank in a shoal.
got up one morning found one upside down top of tank this was a regular occurence for a week i lost seven of them, i checked the odvious things that could be the problem.
water stats were ok.
i treated the tank water with a general tonic medicine but was to no avail oh well start again.

will i have to empty my tank completly and start again or is there a tchnic that i can follow?

would be gratefull for any answers.
cheers kevin.

What was the ph of the store to your tank and how long diid you climatise them for.

What your ph.
Shivering can be signs of many things from temp to parasite.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing against objects, or swimming in a jerky movement.
Check the gills on the fish to see if there pale with excess mucas, or red and inflamed.
