Siamese Fighting Fish Disappeared

Hello just new member a bought a fighting fish and its dissappeaed from my tank a have check full tank its not there a have the interpet cf3 filter it cant get into that am puzzled to whats happened anny body had this experience before thanks

These are known jumpers... so have a look around the tank.

I had one in a little bowl under a window near my sink when I was younger. I came home to my mother swearing and sticking her hand down into the garbage disposal since he "tried to commit suicide." Luckily he survived the ordeal and lived a happy long life. needless to say we moved to bowl. Crazy jumpers.

I've always had a lid on my betta tank, and suggest you do too because they do jump. We used to not have a lid on the tank in the living room, about 120 gallons community tank, and my little sister found a dried up African rainbow fish on the carpet in front of the tank. We got a lid after that.
So, Wilkiebhoy, you posted this about a month ago, did you find the betta?
