I was looking at the fish at LFS and saw that they had two floating boxes (Like breeding traps) where male fighters should be. It was very unusal for the shop to have to boxes in same tank though. I had a look and saw that a peachy colour VT male was still in his box but a birght red male was in the box with him. The red one with nipping him and flaring at him, stressing the poor fish out. I cant believe the peachy one didnt die. I run to the counter and asked to pay that fish... So I brought him home. Not thinking I had no where to put him at the moment. At the moment he is in a breeding box (A big one) floating on top of a tropical fish tank water. His tail is all riped and spilt through biting and he is still breeding heavy. He is always laying oh his side with a slight curl to him. (I know that isnt a good sign) I would put him in main tank but there is :
3 tetras (Which Im not bothered with)
Goruami
Siamese Flying Fox
Catfish (Not bothered with)
Gaint Danios
I dont think this would be the best tank for him to go into you. The tank at my house is full of male and female platties and guppies. Some people get away with male fighters with guppies but Im not sure if I should risk it or not.
I want to bring him back to health, instead of him laying on his side all the time. He did manage to eat something today though (I got him Yesturday)
Please Help
