I have a fairly new (3 months) tank 60x30x30. Planted and all looks well.
Amonia and Nitrite are 0 ,Nitrate about 10 and PH of 8 (due to my wood leaking its dye I think - looks like weak tea but i like it!)
I have 6 long fined zebra danios and have had a worry with one for the last week.
In the morning all 6 are swimming together but when the light comes on at midday within 10 mins a certain one will go and hide behind the filter at the top of the tank.
It looks healthy but I'm sure this is not correct.

Any ideas?

Cheers

I have had the danios about 6 weeks - they are the only fish in the tank.

Thanks

One of my small giant danois sleeps behind the filter hanging in the water while the rest just swim in place. She likes it there,I guess it's a cozy hiding spot. She's trying to spawn too,but I don't think she knows quite what the heck is going on. They're so hyper and active they seem a bit challenged.

Nervousness, may indicate a stressful situation. I would add some stress-zyme or melafix to the water, after a water change, and see if that has any effect. If there are no other apparent problems I would not worry too much.
