Shy Betta?

hi, im new to this site, and new to owning a betta...
I bought my crowntail betta Beau tuesday.. so hes only a few days old and is always sleeping... and not so happy.
When i bought him, he was the most active betta of the bunch...

i have him in a betta starter kit

i have the blue one, with a plastic plant in it. I also have a heating light...

Ive noticed that he wont eat and he just sorta floats around.. anything that im doing wrong?


P.s thats not my betta fish.. heh just showing you what i have Beau in

He may just be adjusting to his new home. Give him some time to lighten up! Maybe some bloodworms, too. Bettas can't resist them.

Put something in between the tank so they don't see each other. They might have been flaring over dominance.
