shrimps

I've aquired a shrimp ,so need information about it,does anyone know any good sites I can look at?

I looked at the posts in here,bit worried ,will it try to climb out of my tank?

depends what sort of shrimp. If its a long arm shrimp (such as chameleon) keep it away from small fish.

I hope not ,paul thanx I'll check that link out,at the moment the shrimp is about 2 inches and a light brown colour all over.

It might climb out of the tank (so keep a lid on it) via the filter or cords especially if the shrimp finds the tank unsatsfactory--if the conditions aren't right, if there are predators. We haven't had any escapees and most of our tanks don't have covers--but our shrimp are in shrimp-only tanks and get as much care as our other pets.
