Shrimps????

i have just been to my lfs and they have some shrimp called...Algae shrimp im not sure if thats what they really are.
if thats what they are called could anyone tell me if they are compatible with neon tetra, guppies, and peppered corys

Could be Amano shrimp? Sort of translucent clear colour? Should be fine with about any fish that cant eat them.

Most shrimp are pretty peaceful. Could you give some more info on what the color is and the size?

it was almost see through and about the size of a neon tetra

Sounds like ghost shrimp to me. They are super peaceful but I don't think they really eat algae. They just get excess junk from the bottom of the tank.

Either a Ghost or Amano. Amanos are also known as Algae Eaters but sometimes I see Ghosts under the name too.
