just been to Cromer (in uk, some will know where it is) now when we went to the beach there were massive rock pools, i scrapped a net on the bottom and when i looked there were loads of shrimp in the net...they looked identical to amano shrimp....amano shrimp are freshwater right so i thought it couldnt be them...so what was it...theree really funny as they crawl on your hand back into the pools!
and then when we actually went in the sea (freezing!) there were shrimp that looked identical to amano but they must have been 4 to 5 inch long...there very fast underwater!

No idea :) but they're certainly not Amano shrimp - it's only in the first stages of live and first few weeks when they metamorphose that they move into strong brackish / marine water. But thereafter they must move back to freshwater (or extremely light brackish water) to continue their adult life. And at the time when they move back to fresh water, they are barely 1cm big.
