Yaay!

Nice.

They will probably hide in your tank for a little while until they settle then they start coming out in open.

I'm sure of it! only things in the tank are fry and nerites, and an abundance of moss

actually they are already cleaning the tank!

lots of yummy stuff for them to eat after their long ride from florida

I love them, isn't it amazing how much you can get attached to such a tiny animal?

this is one of my less red shrimpies, I've named them and all their future descendants jellybean, incase anyone was wondering.  Just curious though does that mean it's a male (the fact that it's less red)

Male Red Cherry Shrimps tend to be almost colourless, transparent almost sometimes.
Depends on grades of your shrimps, it is possible that may be a male if high graded.

May have some spots of red but clearly not as colourful as females, also males are a bit smaller than females as well.

I have lots of males and females in my tank and both sexes are easily to tell apart almost instantly, you will get to know given a little time observing and seeing berried females is cool as well. My tank has a LOT of little shrimplets going about their daily business
