Shrimp

I want shrimp not sure what kind ther is i have a sand bottom and guppys

Sorry, couldn't resist. Going back to serious mode, there are lots of different freshwater shrimp species available. There is a section further down the forum listing which is a species index for invertebrates, have a cruise through there and see what floats your boat.

When you go to buy, make sure whatever you buy doesn't have large pincers. A few times recently people have asked why their "peaceful" shrimp has just killed their fish, turns out they got a macrobrachium species, which are nasty pieces of work.

I saw your post about anyone near Glasgow-is that where you are? Dobbies in Cumbernauld sell lots of different types of shrimp. There's also a specialist aquatics shop in Falkirk which had cherry shrimp, red crystal shrimp and blue shrimp last time I was in.
