well as shrimp and little if anything to your bioload then i think you'd be fine with a couple, i have an amano (algae) shrimp in with female bettas and he is happy and healthy there are many available, Amano, Cherry, Tiger, BumbleBee just to name a few :good:

you could try ebay apparently there is a very good seller on there and has cheap prices, not sure on the user name though :X

I have a quick question regarding shrimp. I just added two Amano Shrimp to my 125L tank. They are brilliant, they're fantastic scrurrying around looking for a snack. I just wanted to know how many I can have in my tank?

Incidently, last night I saw one of the shrimp climb right on top of one of my Ancistrus and he didn't mind one bit. It seems they both get along. They even shared an algae wafer together!

well they do better in groups so think you'd be fine with another 2/3 possibly more, just don't think there dead when you find there molted skin, think a dead body is supposed to be pink?
