the pic here doesnt do the shrimp true color as the lights are normal ones on the tank

The fact that you don't post is probably why you're struggling to make sales. I understand its a pain to post, but realistically there aren't that many people on here that live close enough to collect.

Hope you have a bit more joy, but might be worth rethinking the posting idea.

I agree with tenohfive, i'd definitely have a load off you if you'd post

Do some digging and if you get stuck pop a post in tropical discussion. I think I've seen a sticky about it somewhere.

At the moment, due to the weather and outside temp most people are hanging fire on posting but normally its not an issue. I've never posted but have received fish through the post from another forum user (rocknurworld) and plenty of people on here do it, so there are plenty of people to turn to for advice.

ok thx

i have a courrier that del fish for me that picks up in the morning and drop of in the afternoon but its 25pounds on first box half price after that

i have fish del by them to day they do every thing evan pick up tanks

was thinking abt sending post but never have before i have loads of fish posted to me using royal mail and apc

Royal mail isn't too bad, thats how my last lot arrived - no specialist courier. Heat pack seemed to go a long way.

Best way to post seanie is to start with a sturdy cardboard box line with polystyrene if uve got it if not lots of newspaper.add a 20hr heat pack(activated) £1 each from ebay.cover that in paper to stop it overheating the fish when added.put a little filter wool or java moss in a fish bag add water and shrimp.double bag in case first bag bursts. try and fast the shrimps a day b4 posting so as to try and cut down on fish poop/ammonia build up on the travel.cover again with newspaper. wrap seal and address the package and post by royal mail next day special delivery :) round about £8 i think. hope this helps. :good:
