I want to get mabye....2 Shrimp Fish, but I have a betta, 3 Scissor Fish and a Gold Fish.

I wanted to know if they would be OK with them.

what do you mean by shrimpfish?
are you asking about Aeoliscus strigatus?
if so they are a marine fish and will die in freshwater

The ghost shrimp would be fine with the betta and in the right conditions would be ok with the scissor rasboras(probably not if you only have 3 of them, but it depends on the size of the tank), but defiantly not with the goldfish. Interestingly, your other fish should not go with goldfish either. How big is your tank? I hope you plan on getting more scissor rasboras in the future, and rehoming the goldfish :/ .
Any info on your tank would be useful to help you :) .

I have a five gallon tank.

Five gallons is too small for the goldfish and the rasboras. They should not be kept together either. You could have ghost shrimp in with the betta in a five gallon. That would make a nice set up (providing your betta doesn't fancy some shrimp for dinner one day as mine did!)

Yes, exactly what FroggFrogg said. The only fish you have that should be in that tank is the betta. Some facts: fish don't just grow to the size of the tank they are in, although their growth is stunted which is why people think fish only grow to the size of the tank they are in. You are presently killing both your goldfish and your scissor tail rasboras, read the TFF newsletters myth of the month for more info..
Also your scissor tail rasboras are schooling fish, so should be ideally kept is sixes. They can get up to six inches each.
Regarding the goldfish, you MUST read this .
It's ok, most people make these mistakes when they start having fish(i started with 3 goldfish in a 5gal, until they started dying and then i researched).
Whatever you do, you must not listen to the advice from employees at big chain stores, or any shops that do not specialize specifically on fish. Even then, people are just out to sell the fish at the end of the day, so watch out. You made a very good decision coming here for advice, and your fish will thank you :) .

Anyway more questions to help, how long have you had the tank set up? And did you cycle it? What kind of filtration/heating does it have?

For future reference, you should have one inch of fish(excluding tail fin) per gallon and no more, until you are much more experienced, understand how the nitrogen cycle works in fishtanks and have made changes to your tank to accommodate for this knowledge.

You should read all of these too :) .

I'm not really sure what type of heater or filter its has...My brother bought it, and the tank has been set up about 3 months. And is 3 scissor tail rasboras enough?

Did you read the links? If your going to keeping fish you need to :) .
3 scissor tail rasboras are NOT suitable for your tank, no matter how 'happy' or healthy the look now, you are killing them -_- .
Read all the links, then research and ask questions on the forums, if you are not willing to do that, i cant help you and you will have some very unhappy and eventually dead fish.
