For a group of ten cherry shrimp, how many algae wafers should they be fed? Not planning on getting any, just wondering...

If the wafer is small say less than the size of an Aussie 1cent piece (If you dont remember the good ole 1cent it was smaller than the 5c in size) then only one wafer, if a bigger wafer approx 10c size then half or even a quarter. I find the shrimp get bored with the food sooner than actually consuming all of it.

Once a day would probably be heaps, and you will more than likely be finding left overs that will need removing unless you happen to have snails in the tank as well. Don't forget you can also give your shrimp all sorts of leaves to munch on Mulberry leaves are popular as are Banana Leaves and Indian Almond. Fruit wise you can give them banana's and almost anything else that you would normally give to fish so things like carrot, zuchinni, pumpkin, peas will all be nibbled by shrimp. I am betting even the fleshy skin from a mango or the seed (after you have eaten the flesh you can get off it) would also go down a treat with shrimp.

Hey old spouse, I've been seeing ' +1 's all over the forum.... Whats it mean? Once every 2-3 days then?

+ 1 just means the person agrees with the above comment. Its a bit like the "I like" button that some forums have
