Yesterday i noticed my 7 month old male guppy was getting bullied by my female amano shrimp which grabbed a hold of its tail and must of been tearing it apart then my 2 female guppies which are the same age went and nipped it as a queue to hurt him.

i took him out the tank and isolated him; i put salt and melafix in to help reduce the stress and help the wound heal. Today i fed him with flakes that were soaked in garlic juice and he had it also he doent look much active but not like he could die.

his fins are healing and he looks alright. im thinking of putting him back in the main tank but in a hatchery so the other fish will take notice of him and i will see how they behave when they see him.

Well i bought 2 otos about 2 weeks ago and i noticed that if one of them were on my rock ornament which my amanos always like to stay on the female shrimp would sometimes go up to them and step over them then it would pick it with its claws and it mainly the female that does it not the male and noticing on what it had done to the guppy was probably the outcome of that aggretion

Never knew myself but ive had them for nearly or probably is a year now so they are getting old
