No, I don’t know the kelvin rating. I do know however, that it is LED, is bright, and can grow plants. I don’t know how to check...

All light will grow plants, but some light promotes better growth than others.
Kelvin rating may be written on the bulb (Americans call them lamps? ..the actual glass bit inside the light fitting ) anyway, if the Kelvin rating isnt written on the bulb/lamp then perhaps the make/model is and you can google for it's data sheet?
Plants prefer full spectrum which is around 6300K.
The light could be incredibly bright, but if its over 10000K, its not providing the right colour for photosynthesis.

One specific fert doesn't mean all ferts. One that's very high in copper would be bad for shrimp and snails.

That wasn't plant fertilizer. That was Excel.

I never solved it. Nothing I did got rid of it. The plants affected i fed to my apple snail, that solved it :P

That makes sense. Excel being a poison, also a high risk to fish, the fish keeper, and plants like vallis also melt when it's used.


"Liquid carbon" isn't the same as a fertiliser, @PheonixKingZ

But even if I did want to get some, my parents wouldn’t let me, as they said no fish stuff before the move.

It just looks sad, the roots aren’t growing, and most of it is either white or black.

If you can't give it the nutrients it needs, there's nothing much anyone can do to help.

It’s not like I’m saying “no I don’t want to buy ferts” I’m saying my parents literally won’t let me.

All I could find is that it is 1600 Lumens?
