hi all :D

i have a 400litre tank with 1x 10" tinfoil barb, 2x 8"bala sharks and a 7" plec, i have been thinking for a while to get a young male Aequidens rivulatus(green terror), but i dont want to wake up and there be just 1 fish alive in my tank! i have read all different comments about this fish and i have decided to put it to the jury!
please help

You'll get your second post in a second - The Green Terror is a new world fish so you're better going there. Personally I'd be concerned about a single barb where I might not if they were in a proper shoal - but in the end with nasties like the GT it may work, or may not - bala's and barbs are potential tankmates for the GT. The best way to establish a (relatively) harmonious tank with these cichlids is to start with younger a younger one and younger tankmates and raise them together.
