i am breeding Haplochromis sp. 44 "Red Tails" the mother just spit last night so its been around 24 hours now since she first spit them, as most of you know the mother will keep putting them back into her mouth if scared ect, im wondering what is the best way to grow these fry? should i put them into a seperate fry tank now? or leave them with there mother?

No, remove the mother(s) ASAP! Feed the fry a high protein diet consisting of infulenza and newly born baby brine shrimp. Aswell, first bites is an excellent food, it's a high protein food and is in powder form.

Hope this helps,

Ryan.

keep the mother out of the main tank too for a while, week or two to give her a good recovery time. that male is going to start chasing her again and you dont want to create a worn out breeder female!!
feed her nicely and keep the lights to a minimum :good:
