"$40 for both tanks.

Both have broken plastic rims. New plastic rims can be bought on the internet from All-Glass:

Or you can glue glass center braces and fix the tanks that way. I have one glass brace already cut to size. It needs to be siliconed in place. I will give you a free big tube of the best German aquarium silicone ("Perennator") if you buy both tanks."

i dont know exactly what rimless is though. is the rim the thing at the top that goes around it?? and its not completely needed is it?? if it is, how much would that cost??

thanks!!

If you don't want them, let me know where they are. I can always find room for some new, almost free, 55s. If they are rimless, that is great, if they have broken rims, they will need a repair but I have a 120 that I repaired by building a wooden top rim with wooden cross braces. It took most of a day to make the top but for a nearly free tank it would be no problem. As suggested in one of your links, you can get a replacement plastic rim for about $20.
