Should I Get Neons?

My other half keeps mentioning that she wants some but I know they get eaten easily. So would they be ok in my tank and if so how many should I get?

basically, if you have any fish with a mouth large enough to fit a neon, there is a chance it will get eaten.

you've got nothing in there that will actively hunt or eat neons.

Yep - AGree with Zoddy - looks good tank mates. Neons can be prone to Neon Tetra disease for which there is no cure. It could take out your other tetras and your danio (I speak from experience!) How about considering Cardinal tetras? A touch biger but more red flash for your buck!

How long has your tank been set up though? I haven't kept cardinals, so can't comment on those, but neons and green neons really don't do well in new tanks, even if they're properly cycled. I don't know why it is, but I don't even quarantine mine any more; I just lose too many, even with a mature filter, gravel and plants taken fron long established tanks.

This tank has been set up for about two months but the only thing that is new is the size of the actual tank, everything else was in a 60L for around 3 years.(Don't worry I added more fish only after I upgraded ) The filter media is mature now. How many cardinals should I have though?

For me 10 is the minimum, they are to small and if you have 6, they won't even been notice.

Yeah, I didn't look at the stocking before commenting

I think a shoal of tetras would be too much in this tank too.
