At the computer.
I know, I know they need 5+ gallons of water, with low current filtration.

I know bigger is also better, but a 10 gallon can easily weigh over 100 lbs. A 5 gallon won't get as heavy. The thing I'm putting it on is a tv stand thing. (So 5 gallons would be better with weight)

I want to get a bigger tank, but am afraid of having the bigger tank being too heavy... :/

At the store the 5 gallons are 27.98 and the 10 gallons are 29.98 so it's not much difference in money.

I'm just wondering. please help?

As long as the tank is sitting level on the tv stand and as long as the tv stand isn't on plastic wheels it will be fine. The psi (pounds per square inch) will not be so high. Tv's can weigh quite a bit anyway. The problem with putting a heavy tank on a stand comes in when the stand in question isn't level, is wobbly or made out of thin or flimsy material.
